Lawsuits against Bayer, the manufacturer of a female birth control device, known as Essure have exploded across the nation. The lawsuits allege that the Essure device may migrate from the fallopian tubes, causing damage to the woman’s internal organs. The FDA was recently notified by Bayer that the Essure birth control device would no longer be sold or distributed within the U.S. The FDA had previously issued an order restricting the sale and distribution of Essure.
A number of the lawsuits against Essure have been filed in Oakland, California and Philadelphia. Klaproth Law is working with lawyers across the country to ensure that women who have been injured by Essure get the justice they need.
